The
SUPER SEARCH 'SS300' is a digital, forward-scanning CTFM sonar which was
introduced to the market in 2001.
The
SS300 incorporates all of the outstanding features of
the early CTFM sonar systems, with new, improved digital technology to provide a number of unique features.
The SS300 provides:

mode provides the ability to receive pinger / beacons
over a range of 20 to 50 kHz;

the standard model (SS300)
provides for RS-422 or RS-485 interface;

the SS300-LL model provides
long line, high speed drivers to work over a single twisted
shielded pair (TSP) for extreme ocean depth.
Unlike
any other sonar system on the market today, the SS300 series
provides the much sought-after audio signal which is so useful
in locating and classifying a target. The sonar
provides dual frequency capability for maximum range and
resolution with interlaced FFT processing.
The
data acquisition and display software is a Windows 2000
based program. This program allows operators to record
data and replay later for project analysis.
